Planograms
A planogram is a layout of a specific section of a store. For example, a 4-foot section of display space selling tools. The planogram is a means to determine how individual items should be organized to optimize the attractiveness and salability of product. It is helpful in both new stores as well as existing stores.
Barjan uses the Space Planning program for planograms. Our planogram specialist will work with the sales representative to offer a number of standard as well as customizable planograms based on specific customer needs. Among the many reporting functions of this piece of software, it provides:
- Provision of replenishment numbers
- Overall profitability
- Ease of product placement
- Sales per square foot
Monthly reports are created that track the status of various items, to include updates on discontinued and new products. The utility of having a well-organized display includes consistency of merchandising and flexibility in optimizing display space. With an optimally designed and maintained planogram for product displays, sales are sure to increase!
